AMS can service from small to huge woodworking machines

AMS has engineers all over the UK and Ireland who work in the AMS customers workshops helping them with their maintenance and repairing their machines when they stop working properly. They have a workshop in Leicestershire where they have at least 7 engineers on-site and 3 apprentices, servicing and rebuilding woodworking machines for clients all over the UK and Ireland.

Gary, AMS Service Director said: “We are able to service all type of woodworking machines, from small machines to huge planer moulders. At the moment, we are servicing a 9 head Leadermac High Speed planer moulder and at the same time we are finishing 2 Wadkin multi-head moulders and 2 Wadkin Four Sided Planers”.

All our engineers have the knowledge and experience to provide meaningful reactive and proactive service solutions, as well as informative and engaging training sessions”.

The AMS Service engineers are experts in Wadkin, because most of the engineering team have been Wadkin trained. They also specialise in the maintenance and repair of; Weinig, SCM, Wadkin Bursgreen, Leadermac, Altendorf, Interwood, Multico, Sedgewick, Striebig, Felder, Martin, Startrite, Robland woodworking machinery and many more.

He continued: “We love to rebuild and refurbish old machines and convert them into as new machines. When the rebuild/refurbished machines go out of our workshop, they are ready to give years and years of service in our customer workshops”.

The AMS service engineers explained to us how the AMS Service department works – If you need help in your workshop (repair, pre-planned maintenance (PPM), installation, training or move your machines to a new workshop) you can contact AMS calling to their office on 0116 259 8900 or sending an email to servicing@advancedmachinery.co.uk.

The Service team will ask you some questions about your machines and they will send you a quotation. After that, if you are happy, one of the AMS engineers will visit your workshop, they will service your machine and only if needed will replace parts, leaving your machine in a fully operational condition and ready to run.

They have an emergency call out service and a FREE Service survey facility, as well as a Spare parts, Tooling, Training department and rebuild/refurbish program.

If you are in the woodworking industry, save this contact because AMS can help you with all the necessities in your workshop.
