The Wadkin Bursgreen Radial Arm Crosscut is a machine capable of cutting timber planks or similar materials, cross cutting them to length, or with angle cuts and compound cuts up to 45 degrees.
The crosscut is composed of a robust frame in steel ( with a bench supported by fixed legs) on which the work table is assembled where the pieces to be machined are placed.
The radial arm of the saw is a cast iron construction with high precision steel bearings running on chrome steel carriage
The radial arm can be rotated 45 degrees both left and right of 90 degrees and the head can be rotated up to 45 degrees from 90 degrees to produce compound angles.
The woodworking machine is equipped with a manual head lock, return spring and side scissor guards for the blade for complete safety.
