What is Abrasive Wheel Safety training course?

This training is for people who use abrasive wheels. You will learn how to identification abrasive wheels, type of abrasive wheels, storage requirements, personal protection and much more. This course covers the current legal requirements for those needing to safely use and change abrasive wheels

What will I receive?

A fully accredited certificate of competence. All our comprehensive training covers HSE standard and PUWER regulation.

As soon as you pass your training, you get a legal certificate of the training course. After 7-10 days, you receive a print diploma.

 

Are you nationwide?

Yes, our woodworking machinery training courses are available in the whole of the UK

 

Where does this happen?

Generally, these woodworking machinery courses are delivered in your own facility. You have the option to have it in our training academy showroom in Leicestershire.

LEGAL REQUIREMENTS FOR WOODWORKING EQUIPMENT

Under current legislation, including Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations, all employees involved in the use of abrasive wheels are required to have received suitable and sufficient training, authorised in writing.

Refresher training to be taken every 3 to 5 years to maintain personnel competency in line with current HSE guidance.
