This Woodworking Training Course can include all classical sawing, planing, moulding, shaping, jointing machines.

The trainer will assess the candidates’ level, but basically there are 3 levels.

It is important that our trainer understands your employee’s skill levels to construct the most beneficial courses for your staff.

 

Where does this happen? 

Our general woodworking machine operator training courses are available in the whole of the UK.

Generally, these woodworking machine operator training courses are delivered in your own facility. You have the option to have it in our training centre in Leicestershire.

 

What qualification will I receive?

A fully accredited certificate of competence valid for 5 years. As soon as you pass your wood machine training course, you get a legal certificate of the course. After 7-10 days, you receive a print diploma.

 

Why do you offer General Woodworking Training Courses?

Any employee or operator who uses woodworking machinery (no matter how infrequently) requires by law an accredited certificate of competence on the woodworking machinery he/she may be asked to use.

 

Are there any exemptions?

No, any employee that uses, assists, maintains or cleans your machinery must be trained.

LEGAL REQUIREMENTS

Regulation 9, The Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations require every employer to ensure that all employees who use woodwork equipment have received suitable and sufficient training. Refresher training to be taken every 3 to 5 years to maintain personnel competency in line with current HSE guidance.
