Forklift Truck Operator

Operator courses include: Novice, Experienced, Refresher and Conversion courses (from one truck type to another). All courses are designated to train individuals in the basic skill requirements and safety aspects of Basic Lift Truck operation. Courses are accredited to ITSSAR. (The Independent Training Standards Scheme and Register.)

Forklift Truck Instructor

The range of courses includes New Entrant, Re-Registration and Direct Entry at national level or in company (In-House Instructor) level. The courses are designated to teach candidates all aspects of forklift training including a detailed instructional techniques programme.

Lorry Loader (Hiab) Operator

Operator courses include: Novice, Experienced Operator, Refresher and Conversion (from one type of lorry loader to another). All courses are designered to train individuals in the basic skill requirements and safety aspects of Basic loader operation. Instructor courses include: New Entrant, Re-Registration. Instructor courses are available to national standards or in house only.

Slinger/Banksman

The course is available across the clear majority of slinging and lifting applications. Equipment covered includes the following Crain types: overhead gantry, tower crane, mobile, pedestal, pendant, lorry loader as well as forklifts, excavators, block and tackle etc.

Vehicle banksman

In company courses will be tailored to the working environment. No prior knowledge of the topic is required and suitable vehicle with driver will be required for the practical elements of this course. The course can apply to all classifications of vehicle manoeuvring and not just large goods vehicles.

Mobile Elevating Work Platforms

All courses are designer to train individuals in the basic skill requirements and safety aspects of basic MEWP operation. Instructor courses include: New Entrant, Re-Registration. Courses are accredited by ITSSAR (The Independent Training Standards chime and Register).

Loading Shovel/Skid Steer Loaders

Training is viable to novice operators (with no working experience) or experienced operators. Instructor courses are also available on request. This is to the nationally recognised levels as required by the Provision and Use of Work Equipment 1998 and section 2 of the Health &Safety at Work Act 1974.

Specialist Tool Hire Training

These courses are developed specifically to meet the requirement laid down under the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations. Current Didac /AMS trainers have also run courses on behalf of the Hire Association Europe at companies across the UK.
